The Wedgewood sits atop our entire lineup as both the strongest and longest-lasting above-ground pool. With a lifetime-prorated warranty, we call this pool an investment-grade pool, most appropriate for those that are situated in their homes for the long haul, or have nice plans for decking and backyard living. And, because the structure of the pool is so incredibly stout, it can take rough-housing and abuse more than any other pool you will find.

Starting at the base, the wall sits in a 2” extruded resin bottom track. The uprights, though they are steel, are nestled into a real boot, not an ornamental boot. This means that no metal from the pool comes into direct contact with the soil. The equipment panel, where the skimmer and return are cut through the wall, is made of Marine-grade Stainless steel: it will not rust. The interior of the wall, prone to hold condensation is polyester coated with an incredible protecting layer we call Plastisol. And the Top seats are undercoated with Copper-guard and plastisol on the visible portion. This all adds up to a steel pool built to last for the long haul.

But the Highlights do not stop there. The Wedgewood is also known for its robust structure with heavily corrugated Steel top seats and uprights, this pool can be walked on by an adult before a drop of water is added. The top seats and walls are 25% thicker than almost every other pool on the market so it can withstand a bunch of teens pushing and shoving and jumping and pulling. No PVC pool can compare to the strength of steel, and steel does not become brittle and compromised under the assault of UV over the years – it remains as song year ten as year one.

To sum it all up, you cannot find a stronger, longer-lasting above-ground pool anywhere in the common market.
